A cheese lover’s haven.
A shop dedicated to selling my favorite food, in every variety imaginable.
Right here in Anchorage, AK. Where we don’t exactly do “classy” often.
But this little shop? It’s classy. In all the best ways.
And so, Mrs. King and I decided that this new discovery meant we would have to throw a party.
After all, what other excuse would we possibly have to buy all the mouth watering cheeses that our little hearts desired?
That party is going to be tonight. A wine and cheese Christmas party for just the girls.
Because in all honesty; most the men in our lives don’t have near the same appreciation for wine and cheese that my girlfriends and I have.
And so tonight, I will be gathering with some of my favorite ladies. To sip from wines we are specifically pairing with cheeses and munch on items I gathered from the tapenade bar at the store just yesterday.
Cheese. And olives. And marinated mushrooms. And roasted peppers.
And wine.
Heaven.
It’s because of this party that I must run now though. To put on my cutest party attire, and construct the most beautiful cheese plate you have ever seen.
Because if there is one thing that my years in the service industry taught me;
It’s how to make a mean cheese plate.

I’m hoping that everyone else is having a weekend full of early holiday celebrations with friends and loved ones as well.
And that those celebrations are equally full of good food, and good drink.
‘Tis the season after all.
The season to drink wine and eat cheese with abandon.
All the while laughing and catching up with the friends who brighten your life.
Friends who allow you to indulge in your cheese addiction.
And are always there to bring a smile to your face.
Without effort.
Daily.
'Tis the season to rejoice in them.
And a little cheese while you're at it.
