The transfer went great. The embryologist said that frozen embryos tend to look a little more crinkly as they come out of the deep freeze, so it's harder to grade them. But he said the one especially was looking great - almost like a fresh embryo.
I actually taped the transfer, which is something I didn't do last time. Don't worry, I kept the camera specifically on the screen rather than my legs in the air, and the whole thing is only about a minute, but I kind of figured - how cool would it be to have that video 10 years down the line?
I would love to share it with all of you, but... I forgot my camera cord! So it will have to wait a few days until I'm home.
For now though, I am eating more pineapple (ironically enough, the handout I got on the way out recommended pineapple! I had read about it online, but I had no idea the clinic actually promoted it for implantation!) and soaking my feet in a warm tub. I'm actually kind of exhausted after all that acupuncture too, so I'm thinking I may just take a nap...
Just taking it easy. Relaxing. And letting the twins settle in nicely to their new home.
Hoping they choose to stay a while, because...
I already love them.
