I’ve been toying with an idea, and I wanted to run it past you all to see what you thought.
You see, last night at the community we took the chance to test out the new Live Chat feature. If you look at it now it looks like any other discussion, but while the chat was “live”, the conversation was able to flow in real time with the newest responses appearing automatically at the top. No refreshing or updating, just normal conversation flow.
It took a little getting used to and moved rather quickly, but once we got the hang of it; it was actually quite fun.
Which leads me to my idea.
I kind of want to host a weekly live infertility chat. A place where all the women in this world of IF could come together and give updates on where they are in their cycle, ask questions about new drugs or procedures, share the happy news of the BFP that finally arrived, or commiserate over yet another month down the drain.
Think of it as a weekly lunch with some of your best girlfriends. Time to chat and catch up with the women who truly understand what you’re going through. An hour each week to spend with your infertile sisters; sharing, learning, laughing, and crying.
What do you all think? Would you be interested? And if so, do you have a time or day that would tend to work out better for you?
