The new laminate is down in the living room, but the real work has apparently come in the form of attempting to repaint the old trim (that had previously been half covered in carpet and therefore only half painted).
I was trying to save myself a buck.
But I’m pretty sure my cheapness finally bit me in the butt.
I haven't spent this much time on my knees in... well, you know.

It’s been a long one for me – and I have a feeling that the perfectionist side of me who simply cannot leave a job undone is going to demand it be a bit longer.
Because someone just had to have new laminate flooring, but wasn’t willing to shell out a bit extra for new trim.
P.S. I’m not sure it’s healthy to be quite so irritated with oneself.
P.P.S. I could really use a drink. And some cheese.
