This is what we call a stupid fee (i.e. you do something stupid, and it costs you). Everyone has to pay it occasionally. I seem to pay it more than most.

Stupid Fee
I scraped my beloved CRV against my garage backing out. I now have a little dent that is bound to cost me at least a few hundred dollars to fix:
